Baseball Recap: Wabasso Comes Up Short at Home Against Sleepy Eye

Wabasso unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Sleepy Eye Indians by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Looking ahead, Wabasso will take on New Ulm Cathedral at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sleepy Eye, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
