Recap: Hatton Hornets vs. Lawrence County Red Devils
The Hatton Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Lawrence County by a score of 46-44. That's two games in a row now that Hatton has lost by exactly two points.
Lawrence County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaiden Wear, who scored ten points. Braylon Dame was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Hatton has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Lawrence County, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hatton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Colbert County at 4:30 p.m. on December 19th. Colbert County will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Lawrence County, they will head out on the road to face off against Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
