North Stokes has gone 9-1 against Alleghany recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The North Stokes Vikings will challenge the Alleghany Trojans at 7:45 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, North Stokes didn't have too much trouble with Starmount as they won 69-50.

Meanwhile, Alleghany slipped by North Wilkes 53-52 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

North Stokes' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7. As for Alleghany, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

North Stokes was able to grind out a solid win over Alleghany when the teams last played last Saturday, winning 54-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Stokes since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
