Softball Recap: River Forest Ingots vs. Calumet New Tech Warriors
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wheeler, River Forest was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Calumet New Tech Warriors with a sharp 14-2 win. The Ingots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by ten runs or more this season.
Lindee Trezak made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 16 over five innings pitched. Those 16 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
