Recap: Overland Trailblazers vs. Aurora Central Trojans
Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 15 more assists than your opponent, a fact the Overland Trailblazers proved on Friday. They blew past Aurora Central 77-30 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-15.
Among those leading the charge was Isreal Littleton, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Siraaj Ali was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 5 assists.
Despite the loss, Aurora Central still got an impressive performance from Gabou (Ben) Camara, who scored 3 points.
Overland's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Aurora Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Overland will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Denver East at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th.
