Father Capodanno piles up the points against Star Christian Academy

The Father Capodanno Grunts had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 65-27 win over Star Christian Academy. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Father Capodanno had established a 31 point advantage.

Father Capodanno found their leader in underclassman Jonah Marsh, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Braedon Hudson, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Father Capodanno pushed their record up to 8-15 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Star Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Father Capodanno has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Scotland Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th. Scotland Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 876 points over their last 12 games. As for Star Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Falcon Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m.
