There's no place like home for Valley Heights, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jefferson County North Chargers on Friday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Valley Heights easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20.

Mia Vermetten paced Valley Heights' offense, picking up ten kills. Vermetten got some help from Paige Miller and her 23 assists. Miller and Vermetten didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Valley Heights' victory bumped their record up to 31-10. As for Jefferson County North, with the defeat, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 41-5.
