Rocklin waltzed into their game on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Del Oro Golden Eagles by a score of 6-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-3 last Monday.

Troy Ueltzen looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Rocklin let Roman Castellanos and Dylan Nusz run wild. Castellanos scored a run and stole two bases, while Nusz scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Castellanos also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ahren Verma, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Rocklin's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Del Oro, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3.

Rocklin will have a chance to go back-to-back against Del Oro: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
