Baseball Recap: Navajo Prep Comes Up Short

Navajo Prep lost against Rehoboth Christian on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Lynx, falling 15-3. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Navajo Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Khol Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Andre Nakai also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Navajo Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Rehoboth Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Navajo Prep Eagles take on Laguna Acoma Hawks at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rehoboth Christian, they will square off against West Las Vegas at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
