Basketball Recap: Wautoma Takes a Loss

Wautoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Wisconsin Dells Chiefs 85-13. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 441st, while the Chiefs are ranked 61st).

Despite the loss, Wautoma still got an impressive performance from Kelcey Michalski, who posted six points.

Wautoma's defeat dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Wisconsin Dells, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wautoma will welcome Nekoosa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wisconsin Dells, they will square off against Adams-Friendship at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
