Basketball Recap: Dodge City Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Dodge City can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They snuck past the Woodward Boomers with an 83-79 win. The Demons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Dodge City's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Woodward, their record now sits at an identical 2-4.

Dodge City will head out to challenge Garden Plain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodward, they will welcome Liberal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodward knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Liberal likes a good challenge.
