Softball Recap: Brewster Comes Up Short

Brewster lost to Chelan on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bears lost 25-11 to the Mountain Goats. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brewster's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Chelan, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brewster will host Liberty Bell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears will need to watch out since the Mountain Lions have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games. As for Chelan, they will be playing at home against Omak at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pioneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.5 runs per game on average), something the Mountain Goats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
