Baseball Recap: Simley Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Simley was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They fell just short of the Two Rivers Warriors by a score of 3-1. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Simley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Two Rivers, their victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Simley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Roosevelt on the 23rd. As for Two Rivers, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-7 victory against Hill-Murray on the 23rd.
