Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kingston). They enjoyed a cozy 60-42 win over the Plainview Indians on Tuesday. Given the Redskins' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Indians are ranked 263rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Abby Chaney, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. Bailey Fincher was another key player, putting up eight points.

Kingston is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.4 points per game. As for Plainview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-9.

Kingston will take on Newcastle at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plainview, they will challenge Byng at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
