Basketball Game Preview: Littleton Lions vs. Jefferson Academy Jaguars

The Littleton Lions and the Jefferson Academy Jaguars will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.

Littleton is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 57 points on Wednesday, they were much more limited against D'Evelyn on Friday. They were outmatched by the Jaguars and fell 58-22. The Lions have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The losing side was boosted by Mariah Stitt, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Jefferson Academy hadn't done well against Colorado Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Jefferson Academy took down Colorado Academy 44-26. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Jefferson Academy's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.4 points. As for Littleton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
