Baseball Recap: Big Bear Victorious

Big Bear won the last time they faced Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. Big Bear walked away with a 13-8 win over Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy.

Chase Wilson was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and one double while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Big Bear is undefeated when Wilson posts three or more RBI, but 1-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Ledesma, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3.

Wilson wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Big Bear lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Big Bear now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Big Bear wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-10 defeat against Savanna on the 20th. As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Victor Valley Christian at 3:00 p.m. on the 28th.
