Volleyball Recap: Hilliard Darby Takes a Loss

After flying high against Westerville Central last Thursday, Hilliard Darby came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the St. Xavier Bombers on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Bombers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Hilliard Darby's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for St. Xavier, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Coming up, Hilliard Darby will be playing at home against Thomas Worthington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The CARDINALS are coming into the match with five straight defeats on the road, meaning the Panthers will have to defend against a team out to prove they can win away from home. As for St. Xavier, they will take on Archbishop Moeller at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
