Basketball Game Preview: Silver Valley Trojans vs. Riverside Prep Silver Knights

The Silver Valley Trojans are taking a road trip to face off against the Riverside Prep Silver Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Silver Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.

Silver Valley is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing University Prep: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Silver Valley blew University Prep out of the water with a 73-32 final score. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-15.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Riverside Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 57-45 to Excelsior Charter.

Silver Valley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Riverside Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Silver Valley strolled past Riverside Prep in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 79-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Silver Valley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
