Taylor Hays Turns in Season-Best Performance

Taylor Hays produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Basalt to the win on Friday. Hays picked up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 56 yards and two touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. His longest reception was for an incredible 71 yards.

The victory for Basalt keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Hays and Basalt will venture away from home to take on Middle Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

If history really does repeat itself, Isenhart might just drop another big game when he faces off against Aspen on Friday. When Isenhart last faced the Skiers back in September of 2023, he forced a fumble and made 20 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
