Lake Dallas posted their biggest victory since December 20, 2024 on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Van Alstyne Panthers with a sharp 63-40 win. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Panthers are ranked 781st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lake Dallas pushed their record up to 13-13 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Van Alstyne, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.
