After a string of six wins, Gibsland-Coleman's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 67-52 to the Minden Crimson Tide. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-55 back in November.

Gibsland-Coleman's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Minden, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gibsland-Coleman and Arcadia will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Minden, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Loyola College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
