The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. This Saturday Manchester Regional takes on Waldwick/Midland Park in the first playoff game of the year. Manchester Regional has never lost back-to-back, and it wants to keep it that way.
Manchester Regional can no longer brag about a perfect record at home. Last week it came up short against Hawthorne, falling 27 - 13. Junior Dustin Lewicki didn't go down without a fight, though. He put up some defensive resistance with 12 tackles.
Meanwhile, Waldwick/Midland Park was close but not close enough last game as it fell 14 - 12 to Pompton Lakes. Waldwick/Midland Park and Pompton Lakes were a much more even match than Waldwick/Midland Park's previous opponent, giving the fans a heck of a game.
