The Mosinee Indians will head out to challenge the Antigo Red Robins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Mosinee is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mosinee's offense. They fell 4-0 to Tomahawk on Tuesday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Antigo and Rhinelander, and Rhinelander kept the tradition alive. The Red Robins fell just short of the Hodags by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Red Robins have suffered since April 30, 2024.

Antigo saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Thomae, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Luke Bastle also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Antigo has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Mosinee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Everything went Mosinee's way against Antigo in their previous meeting back in April, as Mosinee made off with a 12-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
