Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marlborough). They put the hurt on the South Colonels with a sharp 18-3 victory on Monday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Colonels recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Shauna Bopp made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
