Basketball Recap: Sunrise Mountain Comes Up Short

Sunrise Mountain lost against Shadow Ridge back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sunrise Mountain Miners had to suffer through a 89-58 loss at the hands of the Shadow Ridge Mustangs.

Sunrise Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Shadow Ridge, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunrise Mountain will face off against Green Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Shadow Ridge, they will take on Del Sol at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Shadow Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Del Sol likes a good challenge.
