Malcolm waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Guardian Angels Central Catholic/West Point Beemer a 7-0 shutout. The Clippers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Guardian Angels Central Catholic/West Point Beemer, too.

Mason Wisnieski was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double.
