Soccer Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson had taken Musselman down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 5-1 to the Applemen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Musselman this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in August.

Jefferson's goal came courtesy of Jason Hall, who's now up to ten this season.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Musselman, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1-2.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Fairmont Senior on the 27th. As for Musselman, they have also already played their next match, a 10-0 win against Berkeley Springs on the 25th.
