Softball Recap: Colonial Forge Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Riverbend, Colonial Forge was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Brooke Point Black Hawks. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Black Hawks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Colonial Forge back to even at 9-9. As for Brooke Point, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Looking ahead, Colonial Forge will square off against Woodbridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brooke Point, they will challenge Riverbend at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bears will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something the Black Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
