Basketball Recap: Cosby Takes a Loss

Cosby suffered their biggest loss since February 26th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Grainger Grizzlies, falling 74-50. The Eagles have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Adison Hayes was nothing short of spectacular for Grainger: she posted 21 points. Another player making a difference was Mckinley Mills, who had four points and five rebounds.

Cosby's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Grainger, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Cosby didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-34 defeat against North Greene on the 12th. As for Grainger, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 52-35 loss against Cocke County on the 17th.
