Baseball Recap: Arp Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sabine two weeks ago, Arp came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 14-2 to the Gladewater Bears on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Arp saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Sanford, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Arp's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8-1. As for Gladewater, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-7.

While Arp had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
