Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Luther on Thursday. The Red Hawks put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 7-1 win. The Red Hawks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Calvin Davis was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Davis was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Those hits were his first of the season.

Davis wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Caiden Brady, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Adain Busch also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
