Basketball Recap: Rivendell Academy Comes Up Short

Rivendell Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They were dealt a 74-18 loss at the hands of the Woodstock Wasps. The match marked Rivendell Academy's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Rivendell Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Woodstock, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rivendell Academy will challenge Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodstock, they will head out to face off against Twin Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Twin Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.2 points per game this season.
