Marin Academy is a perfect 10-0 against San Domenico since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will square off against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Marin Academy faced off against Lick-Wilmerding on Tuesday. The Wildcats blew past the Tigers 3-0.

While Marin Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 27-25.

Meanwhile, San Domenico hadn't done well against San Francisco Waldorf recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 3-0 win.

San Domenico's victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15. As for Marin Academy, their win bumped their record up to 16-8.

Marin Academy took their victory against San Domenico in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
