Basketball Recap: West Charlotte Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for West Charlotte, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They secured a 55-51 W over the Rocky River Ravens on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-43 two weeks ago.

Kenya Grier had another great game (as she tends to do), going 7-for-12 on her way to 18 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. Those 18 points gave her a new career-high. Aliyah Gray was another key player, putting up six points along with six rebounds and three steals.

West Charlotte was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

West Charlotte's record is now 3-1. As for Rocky River, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, West Charlotte will venture away from home to challenge Berry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rocky River, they will welcome Garinger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ravens will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
