Soccer Game Preview: Immanuel vs. Hanford West

The Immanuel Eagles will square off against the Hanford West Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Immanuel is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Kingsburg on Friday. Immanuel fell just short of Kingsburg by a score of 2-1.

Immanuel's goal came courtesy of Romualdo Quintal, who's now up to ten this season.

Meanwhile, Hanford West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Sierra Pacific.

Hanford West's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Immanuel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5-1 record this season.

Immanuel beat Hanford West by a goal when the teams last played on January 10th, winning 2-1. Does Immanuel have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hanford West turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
