Football Game Preview: Essex Tech Hawks vs. Hamilton-Wenham Regional Generals

The Essex Tech Hawks will face off against the Hamilton-Wenham Regional Generals at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Essex Tech will be strutting in after a win while Hamilton-Wenham Regional will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Essex Tech beat Pentucket Regional 21-14.

Meanwhile, Hamilton-Wenham Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against Manchester Essex, falling 49-6. The Generals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-0.

The victory got Essex Tech back to even at 3-3. As for Hamilton-Wenham Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Essex Tech couldn't quite get it done against Hamilton-Wenham Regional when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 28-21. Can the Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
