Basketball Recap: Burns Sci-Tech Takes a Loss

Burns Sci-Tech's last matchup with Halifax Academy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Wednesday. The Eagles lost 68-44 to the Knights. The Eagles have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Halifax Academy had a senior duo take command as Calloway McCaster posted 19 points and Nehemiah Wigley earned 12 points. Another player making a difference was Louis Consenzi, who put up ten points.

Burns Sci-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Halifax Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Burns Sci-Tech will host Crooms Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Halifax Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Trinity Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 2.
