Softball Recap: Hidden Valley Comes Up Short

Hidden Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-2 to the Pulaski County Cougars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-2 loss on Tuesday.

RILEY EADES made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

Hidden Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Pulaski County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Hidden Valley will square off against rival Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pulaski County is set to face off against their familiar foe Patrick Henry at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
