Soccer Recap: Denmark Takes a Loss

Denmark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Gwinnett Comets. That's two games in a row now that Denmark has lost by just one goal.

Andersen Perez and Eli Ojert scored both of Denmark's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Denmark's record is now 8-8. As for South Gwinnett, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Denmark nor South Gwinnett have any future games scheduled.
