Volleyball Game Preview: Weld Central Rebels vs. Bennett Tigers

The Weld Central Rebels will take on the Bennett Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Weld Central took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Everything went their way against Fort Morgan as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Bennett waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Huskies 3-0.

While Bennett might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Platte Canyon scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 26-24.

Weld Central better focus on containing Kaylonnie Mclaury and Josie Ladd as the pair were huge in Bennett's win. Mclaury had 14 digs and one assist, while Ladd had seven aces, five kills, and four digs. Ladd has been hot recently, having posted five or more kills the last three times she's played.

Bennett's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Weld Central, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.
