Soccer Recap: Timpanogos Falls Short Against Ranked Mountain View

Timpanogos faced Mountain View in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 2-1. Timpanogos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Mountain View earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Having lost for the first time this season, Timpanogos fell to 8-1. As for Mountain View, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Timpanogos will head out to take on Orem at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Orem will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Timpanogos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mountain View, they are taking a road trip to face off against Provo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
