Basketball Recap: Casady Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Casady had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 59-58 victory over the Guthrie Bluejays.

Casady's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5.

Casady won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Community Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Guthrie, they will head out to take on Shawnee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
