Recap: Johnson vs. Putnam County
The Johnson Panthers fell victim to the Putnam County War Eagles's stalwart defense on Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. Their rough 8-0 loss to the War Eagles might stick with them for a while. Johnson has not had much luck with Putnam County recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Putnam County, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnson will take on Butler at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Putnam County will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Laney at 7:30 p.m. on March 4th.
