Soccer Recap: Syracuse Comes Up Short

Syracuse faced Weber in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Warriors who were credited with the victory. The Weber Warriors got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Syracuse Titans' four. The defeat continues a trend for Syracuse in their meetings with Weber: they've now lost three in a row.

Syracuse's goal came courtesy of Caleb Hall, which was the first he's scored this season.

Syracuse's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Weber, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.
