Volleyball Recap: Parkland's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Parkland and Bishop Shanahan squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Parkland had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Eagles. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Parkland started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Parkland still got an impressive performance from Chloe Coonradt, who had 19 digs and four assists. Coonradt is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Zoey Leach, who had 13 digs and two aces.

Parkland's loss dropped their record down to 22-10-1. As for Bishop Shanahan, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season.

Parkland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Shanahan, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Hempfield on the 8th.
