Softball Recap: Navarro Comes Up Short

Navarro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 10-5 to Canyon Lake. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Canyon Lake this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-3 back in March.

Shelbi Stevens was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3.

Navarro's loss dropped their record down to 2-14-1. As for Canyon Lake, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Navarro didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Bandera on the 11th. As for Canyon Lake, they have also already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Davenport on the 11th.
