Baseball Recap: Jenkintown Comes Up Short

Jenkintown fell victim to Germantown Friends and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to Germantown Friends. The Drakes just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Jenkintown saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Worrell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one double.

Jenkintown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Germantown Friends, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season.

While Jenkintown had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
