Volleyball Recap: Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Takes a Loss

Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park lost against Morgan Park Academy back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14.

Among those leading the charge was Annabella Arevalos, who had eight kills and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Morgan Park Academy, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park will head out to face off against Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Morgan Park Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Universal at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
