Volleyball Recap: Mildred Comes Up Short

Mildred lost against North Hopkins on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Panthers.

Mildred was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23.

Mildred's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for North Hopkins, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

Mildred has already played their next game (against Wolfe City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for North Hopkins, they will square off against Chapel Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
