Basketball Recap: West Point Takes a Loss

West Point played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Warhill Lions and fell 78-32. The Pointers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-14.

Hunter Brown was a one-man wrecking crew for Warhill as he dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Cherry, who posted 14 points.

West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Warhill, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

West Point didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-43 loss against King & Queen Central on the 12th. As for Warhill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-45 defeat against Lafayette on the 11th.
